The contract extension showdown between Davies and Bayern has been going on for quite some time now after the Canada international attracted interest from Real Madrid earlier this year. However, new Bayern boss Vincent Kompany is known to be an admirer of the Canadian and wants to keep him at the club beyond 2025. According to , sporting director Max Eberl has started negotiating a fresh deal with the full-back once again. They are reportedly offering a salary in the region of €13 million (£11m/$14m) and €4 million (£3m/$4) in bonuses.
